Performa Interview
This issue sees the introduction of a new feature, where we interview a Performa member of staff. This month, the focus is on Dominique Fox, a Client Manager within the Client Service Department at Performa.
Q. Where were you born and where do you now live?
A. I was born in Sheffield and now live in Brixton, London.
Q. What was your favourite TV programme growing up?
A. Bagpuss.
Q. What is your favourite band?
A. The Killers, and perhaps Snow Patrol, and Embrace too.
Performa Client Manager: Dominique Fox
Q. What sports teams do you support?
A. I support Sheffield Wednesday Football Club; but don't get to see them very often.
Q. How long have you been with Performa?
A. I have been with Performa for two years now.
Q. Where did you work before?
A. Previously I worked for Russell/Mellon in Leeds, and I was there for five years. During that time I worked on the Performance, Technical and QA teams.
Q. What is your most frequently asked client question?
A. Clients often query why their returns aren't showing in a report when they have been recalculated, and it is usually because they haven't loaded in the currency rates for the latest month. Sometimes a client can't get a PerformaXRM report to show the returns, and that is often due to not having the Analysis tool pack installed in their local copy of MS Excel.
Q. Best client moment?
A. My best client moment has been finding the one data anomaly that was stopping my client from getting their verification successfully signed-off.
Q. Best Performa moment?
A. My best Performa moment was winning the treasure hunt in Berlin last summer at the annual company Vision Day!
